Trustees

Our Trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing the Galloway Cattle Society including making decisions about how it is managed and run. This means it’s important that our Trustees are as representative of our membership as possible.

We welcome and encourage interest from any member who is interested in stepping forward to become a Trustee. We are particularly keen to encourage younger members and members who have no prior experience of being an office bearer for an organisation. A good place to start is to become a District Trustee, where you will represent the Society in your local area.

If you would like to know more about what’s involved in becoming a Trustee please contact us for an informal chat, or fill out the form at the bottom of this page.
